Barnaby gave Oath a full side eye before turning back to Beltis and sourly sipped his drink. “Playing nice get’s your heart broken.” The cat demon muttered under his breath recalling a time when things didn’t suck for him. “The last time I played nice with someone I got stuck with Brahm as a Master.” Barnaby shamelessly air quoted Master raising his voice again.
“You’re no prize yourself, stupid cat.” Brahm couldn’t pretend not to overhear any longer. Barnaby’s ears went flat and the cat demon began to slowly and deliberately push the bottle of alcohol toward the edge of the table.
“Don’t you do it.” Brahm warned, to which the cat-demon pushed it even further until the bottle was perched precariously on the edge. Barnaby smirked at Brahm’s glare and turned his attention back to Beltis.
“I can’t give you any guarantees, but as long as the little shit doesn’t make my existences harder, I won’t be a pain in his.” Barnaby vowed, not quiet knowing yet what to expect with Oath living with them from now on. Envy had plans and Barnaby wanted to stay as far removed from those plans as possible.
Brahm had reached out rescuing the bottle while Barnaby’s attention was on Beltis. But his silver eyes were back to Oath in an instant. Brahm was troubled by what Frowly had said and the fallen angel was honestly too scared to even try to interact with him.

Beltis couldn’t help but roll his eyes at the antics of both Barnaby and Brahm. Eventually he grew tired of the show they were both putting on and ended up excusing himself from their company, promising to return the pants he borrowed at some point.
It left Oath alone in uneasy company. Something which hardly improved over the next couple of days. Whatever enchantment Envy had used to bind the pair together meant that Oath knew that Brahm was uneasy in his company, though the feeling was somewhat mutual. In Oath’s case however, the half-angel seemed to be weary of just about everything. He was highly anxious and seemed to do his best to be not only out of the way, but barely noticeable.
Barnaby would find that Oath was not just quiet because he could hardly talk, but because he deliberately did his best to not make any kind of disturbance. The boy was clearly damaged and abused before Envy ever hooked his claws into him. Half the work of breaking the poor boy down had been done already by someone else.
What both Brahm and Barnaby would find was that you could practically ask Oath to do anything, and he’d do it without fuss. Though it also seemed that he had to be expressly told that he could or rather was allowed to do things, such as read or cook for example.

Brahm had tried to ignore Oath as much a possible, even as clients began to visit for the angel’s company. When the clients inquired if Oath would be joining them, Brahm would tell them the boy was off limits. And then Brahm would lead them upstairs and let them use his body to his client’s delight. Afterwards he would see them out with idle chit chat and healing wounds.
Barnaby had quickly dumped the chores he was expected to do on to Oath, although truth be told it wasn’t much. He was curious to see if Oath could cook, Barnaby seemed to be cursed when it came to preparing food and Brahm only ever ate bread. There was cleaning and laundry, but when those things were done Barnaby would only be irritated that Oath would sit quietly waiting for what to be told to do next. It reminded him of a certain stubborn Angel. He introduced Oath to the small selection of books they had on had on a self.
“When you’re not doing chores, you can read, or draw, or some other hobby that might interest you. It’s annoying when you just lurk in the background do nothing.” Barnaby chastised the half-angel.
“Barnaby,” Brahm got his familiar’s attention as came down stairs, “I was summoned by Master.” He explained putting on his red jacket, still looking disheveled as usual. “Don’t let anyone in while I’m away.” He ordered and headed out the door.
Barnaby’s ears went flat with discontent. “I am not a babysitter!!” He yelled at the door as it closed.

One would think that someone in Oath’s position would put up more resistance, or at the very least not do everything he was told or asked without complaint. However it would have been very quickly apparent that someone else had already done all the hard work. Oath had been abused and beaten into submission long before he had stumbled across Brahm (and by extension Envy’s) path. Besides, being bossed around by Barnaby wasn’t the worst thing that could happen to Oath on a given day.
Cleaning and doing the laundry was one thing, cooking however was another. While he wasn’t likely to burn the house down, and most things Oath did cook were edible at least, he wasn’t exactly skilled at it.
The first time Brahm received a client it had been a real shock to Oath’s system. He still didn’t quite understand the mess he now found himself in, and the first time he’d felt pain and pleasure that was not his own had been a frightening experience. It didn’t get any easier.
Whenever Brahm received a guest it was a sure thing that Oath would be functionally useless for the rest of the day, and even possibly the next. Being both physically and emotionally wrecked by feeling pain and pleasure that wasn’t his, and not knowing what to do with it. Sexually he was very inexperienced and was still reluctant to even touch himself, even if it might offer him some relief from his own suffering.
When Barnaby tried to encourage him to participate in a hobby Oath just tilted his head curiously. He didn’t really have any, his mother had not allowed him to explore his own interests. He had started to read some of the books, but many of them were a little too complicated for him, or covered advanced subjects he struggled to grasp.
What he had found however, tucked away in a dusty cupboard was a jigsaw puzzle, and was in the process of taking over the living room coffee table with it as Brahm announced his departure.

For a time Barnaby sat in quiet enjoyment in the busy work Oath had gotten himself into with the jigsaw puzzle. But his mere presence prompted Barnaby to talk to fill the void. “Brahm once enjoyed doing puzzles, said it helped him sort through the mess. Me? I’ve never been bored enough to try.” The cat demon found himself sitting across from Oath looking at the puzzle. Barnaby was trying to do what Beltis had asked him, Brahm hardly spoke anyway - so the cat demon was use to not getting much of a response. He was just about to speak again when there came a knocking at the door.
Barnaby made no motion to move from his spot except glare at the door and hoped that the offending knuckles would just go away, but alas they did not.
“Oh Barnaby,” sang a voice on the other side the door. “Let me in.” It was a voice Barnaby recognized and he became physically alarmed. It was Epiales, a demon of nightmares and one of Brahm’s most brutal clients.
“Brahm isn’t in right now.” Barnaby called out taking a gamble hoping it would buy time, although he doubt staying quiet would stop the demon on the other side of the door from entering. He pulled Oath away from the puzzle and toward the stairs the led up to Brahm’s room.
“I know.” There was a delighted laugh on the other side of the door. “Envy sent me.”
“Hide.” Barnaby quietly instructed and pushed Oath upstairs, he would buy all the time he could.
“Barnaby, do open the door.” Epiales tone was frightfully cheerful.
—
Brahm took his time making his way to Envy unable to get Frowly’s words out of his head. He didn’t want to be apart of any of this, and yet here he was, deep within the clutches of destiny’s plotting. Lost in his thoughts it seemed as if he had arrived more quickly than he had intended to. Envy was waiting for him, lounging on a chair made of people turned to stone.
“Ah, there you are.” Envy smiled knowing the guest he sent to Bramh’s apartment we be arriving to it shortly. “Getting use to married life? How is the bride?” The question was of course rhetorical, the demon seems irate that nothing had been happening between the two.
“I still don’t understand why you gave him to me. I am, undeserving.” Brahm would do anything to stop the growing attachment he was feeling toward Oath. Sharing of their feelings had caused several pesky emotions to reemerge.
“Oh my silly little Brahm.” Envy got up from his seat his hands fixing the jackets disarray collar. “You have deserved every minute of everything since you were created, that’s the beauty of it. Now come along.” The demon lord tapped Brahm on the lips with his index finger and lead the angel to the one his rooms. “I have a small matter that needs dealing with.”

Oath started by separating all the edge pieces from the rest and assembling them like a frame, before beginning to sort and pick through the rest to assemble the rest. Though Oath was quiet, unlike Brahm he would at least give Barnaby his attention. When the demon began to talk Oath looked up and nodded, showing he was listening. The corners of his mouth even pricked up into a slight smile when Barnaby said he’d “never been bored enough to try.” Oath didn’t seem to mind if Barnaby filled the silence by talking.
He looked up from his puzzle when there came a knocking at the door, and was about to go back to it when Barnaby made no attempt to move or even say anything. But then the person outside spoke, and something about it was unsettling. Even before Oath noticed how Barnaby’s body language changed. He easily let Barnaby pull him to his feet and towards the stairs.
He stumbled a little as he was pushed up the stairs, but climbed the rest silently. He wasn’t exactly sure where to hide, Brahm’s minimalist lifestyle left few options. It really came down to a closet, under the bed, or behind some curtains.
Quickly and quietly Oath slid under the bed, and pushed himself as far back against the wall as possible. Making himself as small as he could. He stayed quiet and listened to what was going on down stairs.
—------ Envy’s “small matter,” was something or rather someone Brahm had likely heard more about than actually seen.
Around 6ft tall, broad shouldered with lean muscle and tan skin. Long white hair. Envy’s most prized but also most hated possession. An un-fallen angel named Solaris.
Presently Envy kept him in a dark room. Laid on his back, gagged and blindfolded. His arms were restrained behind his back in leather cuffs, his legs were bent at the knee and spread wide. Leather cuffs were also fastened around his ankles. Both sets of cuffs had metal loops on them, which were attached to straps going across the mattress, holding Solaris in place and keeping him restrained. There was a collar around his neck which was similarly restrained. He couldn’t sit up, he couldn’t even tilt his head up.
Solaris was completely naked, with the exception of a chastity device. His cock was locked inside a black silicone sleeve with a metal ring secured tightly at the base with a small metal padlock. Upon closer inspection it was also connected to an anal plug. Additionally Solaris’ nipples were also pierced, but only had a small metal ring through each of them currently.
The room was filled with the small of sex, likely Envy had left something in there to diffuse an aphrodisiac of some kind. Keeping Solaris trapped on the very edge of orgasm for only God knew how long. Based on rumours Brahm may have heard for days, if not weeks.

“Master Brahm has instructed me not to open the door.” Barnaby did his best to keep the nervousness out of his tone.
“One last chance Barnaby.” Came the voice again from the side of the door. “Open the door.”
Barnaby’s survival instincts were screaming at him to open the door. There was nothing Barnaby hated more than pain and he was going to be in for a world of hurt if he didn’t let Epiales in. Another step backwards and Barnaby was at the base of the stairs, eyes dead set on the useless locks on the door. One by one, they unlocked themselves until the door opened by itself, revealing Epiales on the other side. He was dressed in a dark red suit holding his leather case of goodies. Barnaby felt his spine abandoned him as Epiales began to approach; the door closed behind him.
“Envy sent me here to take Brahm’s blushing new bride for a ride.” He invaded Barnaby’s personal space, towering over the smaller cat demon.
“He isn’t here. I sent him to the market.” Barnaby lied, not quiet sure why he was covering for the half-angel.
Epiales placed his hand on the cat-demon’s shoulder and leaned in close. “I know he’s here. I can smell him Barnaby.” The demon closed a death like grip onto Barnaby’s shoulder and forcefully lead the familiar up the stairs and into Brahm’s room.
“Come out, Come out. I just want to play.” Epiales spoke in a sinister sing-song voice.
“I told you, he’s not here. I sent him to market, he wouldn’t shut up - so I sent him away.” Barnaby doubled down on his lie but Epiales saw right through it. It probably would have been easier for the cat-demon to give Oath up, it certainly would have been a lot less painful.
“I don’t like liars Barnaby.” Epiales slammed the cat-demon against some of the harder furniture then threw him to the floor. From his position on the floor he could see Oath tucked way under the bed. All he would have to do was point and his life would be so much easier, but instead Barnaby remained silent as Epiales began to stomp and kick him. He picked Barnaby off the floor, threatening to hurt the familiar if Oath didn’t come out of his hiding place.
—
The smell of aphrodisiac was strong in the chambers and it hit Brahm almost instantly. He had heard the rumors of Solaris, the first angel Envy had captured, but this was his first time interacting with the angel. Envy lead Brahm toward the bed and the Demon Lord knelt upon it, brushing his fingertips just over Solaris’ skin until he came to fiddle with his nipple pricing. “I didn’t mean to leave you down here for so long, but you know how things are - time got away from me.” Envy teased Solaris. It had been a few weeks since he had locked Solaris away and all that time the sexual tension kept building. Envy reached slowly dragged his hands up to the gag and removed it.
“So tell me again why you’ve found yourself in this predicament, hmm? And how are going to correct the situation?” Envy asked Solaris wondering if his punishment had taught him anything. “Do you deserve the reward I brought?” The demon withdrew himself from the bed, threatening to leave Solaris in his celibate solitude.

From his hiding place under the bed Oath couldn’t hear the conversation taking place down stairs. Though he could hear the sets of feet climbing the stairs. He flinched under the bed when he heard Barnaby being thrown against some of the furniture in the room. The sad truth was, Oath likely wouldn’t have blamed Barnaby a bit if he had given him up.
He didn’t know what to do as he watched Barnaby being abused, and he didn’t understand why the cat-demon was being so stubborn about it. Eventually Oath couldn’t take it, he was frightened this was true, but he didn’t like someone else getting hurt because of him, and he was unfortunately…already used to being hurt and abused.
As Epiales threatened further harm to Barnaby, Oath crawled out from under the bed.
“P..please, s-s-stop.” His words were so quiet, and the sound of his voice had a raspy quality to it that made it immediately clear that it was both difficult and uncomfortable for Oath to speak. “I’m s-s-sorry.” This apology was meant for Barnaby, but it could easily be interpreted as an apology for hiding.
—---
Even the very ghost of a touch to his body got a strong reaction out of Solaris. His body arched into the touch what little it could given the restraints, a muffled moan pushing past the gag in his mouth. He wasn’t physically or mentally in a position where he could call Envy out on his bullshit, but they both knew Envy had left him so long deliberately. That the demon was only here now because he either had a use for Solaris or because his own sexual frustration was becoming too much to handle. In all likeliness, it was a bit of both.
He gasped, practically panting for breath when the gag was removed. Spit running from the corners of his mouth.
“I….I let a client meant for someone else f-fuck me, I….l-let them drink from me.” It was bad enough when Solaris deliberately got in the way of Envy’s plans, but he knew nothing pissed the demon off more than when he let others drink his blood. Envy was jealous and possessive, and when he was feeling particularly neglected Solaris often provoked him deliberately. This wasn’t the longest the Demon Lord had ever ‘punished’ him, and it showed in the fact Solaris wasn’t completely lost in mindless lust. He could still think…Even if it was difficult with his mind so hazy with arousal.
“And how are you going to correct the situation?”
“...by doing w-whatever you wish M-master.” Solaris was very definitely feeding Envy’s ego. He only called him “Master” when he was desperate. Otherwise it was “My Lord” or “Envy” if he was feeling particularly defiant or mischievous. He would make no promises about correcting his behaviour, they both knew it was going to happen again eventually. They were ever trapped in this endless pushing and pulling of each other.
When Envy pulled away Solaris couldn’t help the desperate, needy whine that escaped him. He wasn’t just desperate, he was practically starving to be touched. His body begging to be fucked.

Epiales was holding Barnaby by an ear when Oath crawled out from under his hiding spot. He chuckled softly at the timid way Oath presented himself, licking his lips at the possibilities.
“…you idiot….” Barnaby hissed under his breath knowing the danger Oath was putting himself in.
“Oh you don’t need to be sorry.” Epiales fastened Barnaby’s collar to one of the many pieces of bondage furniture and shoved the cat-demon aside. He picked up his bag and set it on the bed. “We are going to have a fantastic time together. You and I.” Epiales reassured Oath in a friendly manner that almost seemed wholesome if it wasn’t for the unsettling evil hidden behind his smile. “And maybe even Barnaby.” He jested sitting down on the bed next to his bag.
“You are just as Envy described.” The polite tone never shifting as the demon looked Oath over. He reached into his bag and pulled out a single piece of candy. “Have you ever had candy?” Epiales held it outstretched in his hand, the red piece of sugary goodness glistening with temptation. “Go on, take it.”
—
Envy’s smile was wide at the pleading sound of Solaris’s voice. The desperation seasoned the already flavored air and with a spin Envy circled around behind Brahm, his long arms coming to wrap around the man, fingers tracing the strong jaw line Brahm was gifted with. “I’ve brought someone with me, Solaris. I like to think of Brahm as my protege.” Envy smirked and captured Brahm’s chin and forcefully turned his head to look at him. “I’ve taught him everything that I know and now he’s going to use that knowledge on you.”
Envy let Brahm go and gave him a small push toward Solaris. Hesitantly Brahm approached, being called his protege had startled him and brought Frowly’s warning back to him. But he couldn’t think of that now. He only needed to do what Envy asked of him.
Brahm began to circle Solaris much the way Envy had, but where Envy had touched him, Brahm’s touch was even lighter. From the tip of Solari’s poised toe, to the edge of his ear - Brahm’s touch was nearly a phantom. It was almost methodical, the way Brahm let his hand hover and glide over every inch of Solaris’ body. When he did finally close the gap between flesh, fingers fanned out like a sculptor working with clay. Digits explored every slope and crevasse, and teasing at the edges of the chastity device when his hands roamed close to the area.

“We are going to have a fantastic time together. You and I.”
Oath doubted that, he didn’t need Barnaby to tell him he was in danger, he could feel it. This demon was even more malicious than Envy, his polite cordial demeanour couldn’t hide that. It just made him more unsettling. Oath watched Epiales warily, regarding the candy he pulled out with suspicion.
He knew without being warned that the last thing he likely wanted to do was put that in his mouth. He hesitated as he took it, already sensing that this demon would have no issue with finding a way to force him to take it.
- - - -
Had Solaris not been practically dizzy with lust he might have laughed at the notion of Envy having a ‘protege’. As it was Solaris was so compromised and incoherent that his usual sass was nowhere to be seen.
The very ghost of Brahm's touch had Solaris gasping and keening. His restrained body trying to arch even just a millimetre closer to those teasing fingers. Brahm would be able to tell this angel was strung tighter than a violin, and ready to snap. When Brahm finally touched him properly, Solaris pressed into his touch wherever he was able. His whole body was over sensitive to touch, every inch of him crying out for attention.
Sharp gasps and whimpers escaped him whenever Brahm teased particularly sensitive areas of his body, his hips bucking slightly when Brahm strayed close enough to the chastity device.

“It’s harmless. Put it in your mouth. You’ll like it.” Epiales smiled pulling out another candy which he put in his own mouth. “Mm, cherry.” The demon had a sweet tooth and most of his candy was harmless. The Candy that wasn’t harmless was kept in the bag on the side with the rest of the dangerous goodies that Epiales liked to play with.
“I heard you’re not much of a talker, but that’s okay because people say that I am.” He chuckled and began to rummage around in his bag and produced another piece of white candy and a ruler.
“Take this one to Barnaby and pop it in his mouth.” He presented the white candy to Oath, instructing him what to do with it, while the ruler rested across his lap.
“Fuck you, you aren’t.” Barnaby ear’s flattened, he could tell by the smell this one wasn’t harmless.
“Now now Barnaby, play along or I just might break something of yours.” The end of the ruler slapped down in Epiales hand with a loud crack and for the first time his smile faded briefly as he warned the cat-demon. But his pleasant disposition quickly returned. “When you’re done giving the cat it’s candy - come back over here and get on your knees in front of me here.” Epiales pointed to where he wanted Oath.
— Something caught Brahm’s attention, his hesitation was enough that Envy saw. “No no no. Brahm, focus…” Envy clapped his hands in displeasure and a warning. “Put whatever might be distracting you out of your mind. Ignore it.” Envy was breathing down Brahm’s back; but of course he knew exactly what was distracting Brahm. “Focus.” The Demon Lord slowly raked his nails down Brahm’s back leaving a bloody trail in hopes to kick start Brahm’s appetite.
The sting of his claws brought the angel back to where he was, his grip tightened on Solaris for a moment with the tension he felt to continue. Brahm crawled further onto the bed, bumping against the inner of Solari’s thighs as he reached between them. His sculptor like touch turned greedy, pushing the flesh beneath it as he tried palming more. Fingers spread out, pushing up Solari’s trunk and Brahm’s lips followed in their wake. Tasting the salt from his skin, he licked and nipped at what protrusions of flesh he could conjure with his hands. Now straddling Solaris’ hips, Brahm’s hands climbed their way to the sides of Solaris’ neck in a mock strangle before Brahm’s pale pink lips crashed against Solaris’s.

Despite Epiales’ assurances Oath remained dubious, even as he watched the demon put another candy in his own mouth. He was still holding the first one when Epiales pulled out another candy, apparently for Barnaby this time….and a ruler….Not feeling like he had too much of a choice, he finally popped the first candy in his own mouth.
The snap of the ruler made Oath visibly jump and tense. Brahm would have gotten used to the fact that Oath pretty much always felt some level of background anxiety by now, but the anxiety he got from that sound was sharp and sudden. Certainly enough to prove a distraction. What was likely worse, (for Oath anyway,) was that it told Epiales everything he needed to know….Certainly that Oath was likely already familiar with a certain level of abuse disguised as ‘punishment’. Though not likely to the kinds of levels the demon was capable of.
Oath turned to Barnaby, his expression was full of turmoil. Oath had clearly survived this far by giving in, but until now he’d been the only one hurt by doing so. But now he was clearly being asked to hurt someone else in the process. It was fast dawning on him, there were no good choices here.
Fighting against his own nature, Oath shook his head.
No. He didn’t want to do that.
—
Solaris groaned needily at the feel of Brahm between his legs. If he’d been able to spread them wider he certainly would have. His skin felt like it was on fire at every point of contact it made with the other angel. Even as Brahm touched him, nipping and licking at his skin, Solaris wanted even more. He was practically starving in ways Brahm might never understand.
A sly grin spread across the angel’s lips when we felt the other’s fingers around his neck. He moaned when he felt Brahm’s lips crash against his own. Solaris nipped back at him desperately. He didn’t even care that he was clearly just a pawn in some fucked up game that Envy was playing. If he got what he wanted, what he was desperate for, then he’d play whatever part Envy wanted him to.
