While they walked through the market, Cameron stayed uncharacteristically close to Brahm. He'd never really liked crowds....And this one was filled with all sorts. Despite himself he also didn't want to get separated and lost, who knew where he'd end up if he did. After the first few times of Brahm's hand brushing through his hair, Cameron started pulling his head away. He did however seem to pick up on the incubus' unease, mostly because it was far removed from what was usual for him.
Fortunately...Or was that unfortunately it was not Lusive that Brahm glanced, if he hadn't panicked he would have realised the vampire he saw was younger, and his hair far too deep a red. Lusive was elsewhere.
Needless to say his reaction to what he thought he glimpsed, was startling to Cameron to say the least. Grunting in discomfort as he was shoved up against a wall in a tight ally. He'd have thought Brahm had other things on his mind., if not for the fact he could feel that sudden raw fear spilling over into himself through that connection they now shared. His head became heavy and confused with an emotion that he knew wasn't his.
As his 'master,' began to kiss at his neck and jaw, Cameron tried to push him away. He had enough problems of his own, without his head being filled with an anxiety that wasn't his own. He was breathing heavy, and slightly flushed by the time Brahm did pull away.
Frowly's home was still where it had always been, as ostentatiously decorated as ever, so it was a safe assumption that he not only still lived but still resided here. His two younger half brothers stood outside, half-breeds like Cameron, though half demon instead of half angel. The weakest sons of the mother of all cats. Though they were joined by someone Brahm hadn't met last time. A man...No a doll of some sort filled with a soul stood outside with them, his hair white and black.
As usual Frowly's place was a hive of activity.

Brahm observed for sometime the outside of Frowly’s place, he still felt the uneasiness with returning to the area. As he watched people come and go, a part of him wanted to return to the solitude high up in his penthouse, it was easy to pretend to be someone else when the past was nowhere to be seen. The Incubus wetted his lips, the phantom taste of Frowly’s blood still haunted his taste buds even after all these years. Not from his lack of trying but there had only been three beings who’s blood ever tasted sweet to him; Septimus, Frowly, and the Incubus Master that had made him what he was today.
He sipped the cool moist air, letting it flow over his tounge. The air tasted just as he remembered it. Again he reached out to Cameron to gently stroke the silky white hair he had been accustomed too, twisting his fingers through the soft tendrils and clasping them tightly to pull his pet closer to him. "Mind your manners in here, or you could find yourself in an even worse predicament." He spoke softly into the boys ear, casting a long sideways glance with his phantom blue eyes down the corner of his cheek. He released him letting the strands of hair slip through his fingers like water.
With bold footsteps he approached Frowly's half brothers and the third unknown person that was with them. He wondered if they would remember him; after all, his time with them had been brief. "Is your brother accepting visitors? Or do I need an appointment?"

While Brahm took his time to make up his mind, Cameron's attention began to wander. He started paying more attention to the people around them, he was getting some weird aura's he'd never felt before....But then the last time he was surrounded by so many other supernatural beings was at that god awful auction he'd been sold at. The man standing outside Frowly's tent was giving him the weirdest feeling of all, like he was something wholly new.
He gasped painfully when his hair was grasped, and used to pull closer to Brahm. He was glad he always kept it short, if it was longer it would give Brahm something more to pull on, and of course it would hurt a lot more too. He nodded to show he understood. He followed behind his master as they approached, massaging his head a little. As they got closer the third man turned his attention to them, even going so far as to draw his sword, something or something vitally important to him must have been inside. "And whats your business with Frowly?" He asked.
However before Brahm could answer, the half-breed in question, made his appearance. The twins stepped aside as Frowly stepped out. "Calm down, he isn't here for you or your master," Frowly said, his keen feline eyes looking straight into Brahm's. "Well well, it has been a long time, it is a relief to see you took a better path than the one you were heading down, Octavius." If Brahm had thought Frowly would adhere to any new names, he was mistaken. Frowly had a thing for true names, thougt it was worth mentioning, someone's true name wasn't necessarily the one they were given at birth. His eyes slid slowly from Brahm to Cameron, and then rather startlingly he suddenly grabbed the poor boy by the collar. "I'm borrowing this for a moment," he declared dragging Cameron inside before anyone present could stop him.

When the third man drew his sword, Brahm placed a hand on Cameron's shoulder briefly so that he could place himself between the threat and his pet. Brahm wasn't one to frighten or feel threatened easily, he had been a hunter after all and even if he appeared weaponless he was far from harmless.
"And whats your business with Frowly?" He asked.
The incubus drew in a breath to answer but before he could Frowly appeared.
"Well well, it has been a long time, it is a relief to see you took a better path than the one you were heading down, Octavius."
The moment Frowly used his original name, Brahms demeanor changed slightly, his pale blue eyes flickered to silver if only for an instant. No one had called him that in a long time, that name had been extinguished like the silver in his eyes. It had died the day he had surrendered to his new Incubus Master and was christen as Brahm.
"I'm borrowing this for a moment,"
The Incubus had no opportunity to protest before Frowly dragged his pet inside, not that he would have protested. A part of him felt greatly indebted to the Sinful Oracle.
"No one has used that name in a long time, but it gives me pleasure hearing it fall from your lips," He followed them inside "and what do you want with my pet? He's hardly trained." Brahm inquired.

"Oh I don't want him for myself," Frowly said pulling Cameron along with him as he walked not only into the tent, but into the crumbling shell of a building beyond. Going to a different part to the one Brahm had been to before. Cameron tried to pull himself free of Frowly, but the hybrid was stronger than he looked, and that was very deliberate...Though he wasn't really much of a fighter. That's why he made sure his younger brothers stuck so close. "But I'm very much in need of one of his kind."
Frowly led them to a room, with a bed, laying on it was another hybrid like himself, the same but different. This one had white hair with pink tips and ram horns. He was covered in blood soaked bandages and didn't seem to be doing very well. Brahm might have remembered him from a very brief glimpse he caught that time Frowly had shared his gift with him. Brham may have found the scent of the others blood alluring, he was different from Frowly, but he was also the only son of Rhaizel, queen of all the succubi and Beltis.
"You see a long time ago I sent my injured friend here, to purgatory to help Lucifer's favourite pet retrieve a...certain item. Some point along the way things turned sour. Now I don't know if you know this but when you enter purgatory there is no grantee you will return to the same time and place you entered, unless someone else is holding a gate open specifically for you. I don't know about the young...angel I sent him there with, but Exley ended up a few years in the future from his original time line. It would be a bother if he died on me, and I don't have healing powers, in fact your friend here, is the only one that does," Frowly explained, gripping Cameron's face by the chin and giving it a bit of a wiggle before letting go.
Cameron turned his attention to the injured hybrid, he could feel a great power there, different and greater than Frowly's. "Surely.." Cameron cleared his throat a little. He didn't speak much, and lately talking at all was a struggle. "He c-can heal himself?" Cameron asked looking to Frowly.
"Well ordinarily yes, but Exley has poor control over his powers, vast as they are. In his current state he has even less so, if his condition gets any worse....Well it might not bode well for any of us in the vicinity." Frowly folded his arms through his long sleeves, giving Cameron that knowing smile he always seemed to have. "Of course I guess Cameron needs your permission for this, really I thought you at least would have thought twice before using a binding spell like that," Frowly said turning to Brahm.

Brahm followed Frowly into the crumbling building, noticing Cameron trying to pull away but to no avail. When they entered the room the Incubus grabbed for the wall to settle himself the sweet smell of blood, his brows knitted together and his pale pink lips grimaced. During his time with Septimus they had swapped enough blood for the Angel to start to carry Vampric characteristic but their time together ended far too soon for the complete transformation.
Brahm listened to Frowly's tale about the trip to purgatory half heartedly. He had always been sure to keep himself away blood soaked scenes, unless of course it was his own doing and was ill prepared for Exley's current condition. It was too close to the new moon for it not to affect him.
"...before using a binding spell like that,"
"Call it jealously for having mine taken away," the edge of the grimace curled up slightly in a devilish smile. "But of course, anything that you ask, I shall give freely." Brahm pulled off his gloves and touched the back of his own hand, allowing Cameron the freedom to use his natural talents. "Do what Mr. Frowly asks Cameron." The frown quickly returned and Brahm slipped from the room to stop just on the other side of wall in the hallway. He pressed his back against the decrepit wall and bit down on his lip. Brahm could feel the boney structures trying to breach the skin on his back. Exley's scent was powerful and intoxicating, and the beast within begged and whined for just a taste, just a drop, just a piece of flesh.
The Incubus closed his eyes reigning in the desire. He was still within ear shot of his pet and Frowly, after all he was still pretty possessive with Cameron. "So the rumors of Lucifer having an angel on his side are true?" Although Brahm no longer cared about the war between the fractions, he was eager to keep his mind from dwelling on that ambrosial scarlet liquid that permeated from the doorway.

Frowly gave Brahm a curious look when he said binding Cameron like that was out of jealousy, oh how he wished he could see inside peoples heads. He watched the half-breed get started then went and stood out the room too, he didn't think Cameron would do anything contrary to the instructions he was given. Instead of joining Brahm at the wall, he just lent against the door, he should still be where he could keep a close eye on things if only because Exley was unpredictable in such a state.
"So the rumors of Lucifer having an angel on his side are true?"
"It is and it isn't. That particular phrasing assumes that Lance is where he is...Willingly. When really, young angels are so easy to take and corrupt when left here on earth, whether intentionally or not he was forgotten here by Michael. Then stolen by Lucifer. It seems he plans to rebel but well...What happened in Purgatory wont go unnoticed by Lucifer, so I imagine he is in hot water now. Well it's no matter of mine," Frowly said, though he seemed a little disappointed, which was odd for him because he was usually so smug.
"You are holding up rather well, the smell of all that blood must be driving you crazy," he prodded. He knew that Brahm now had an inccubus master, so any demon that belonged to the same general clan was going to be enticing.

Upon hearing of Lances predicament of being left on earth, his hands balled into fist. He didn't know the Angel that Frowly spoke of, but he knew the sinister things that could happen, even when being left in friendly hands. Brahm was one of a dozen Angels given to the church when they were very young, destined to help humans hunt the things that went bump in the night. Seen as weapons and tools, things to be used until they wore out. Abused by the priests who had an insatiable hunger for beautiful things. Ironic that Brahm now had the same appetite for beautiful things and breaking them.
"You are holding up rather well, the smell of all that blood must be driving you crazy,"
Brahm let out a little chuckle like a slow boil. "Crazy isn't quite how I'd describe it but I'll manage." Had this situation taken place several years ago, there would be no stopping the beast when he was in the dark depths of madness.
"I felt uneasy returning here. Leaving like I did, but I didn't want to cause more trouble then I already had. When Master had found me I was no more then a mindless starving beast." And Brahm was putting it lightly. He terrorized the cities he came across, wondering endlessly in his need to be free from the curse that Gabriel had placed upon him. It was Master that had finally broken those chains, only to replace them with new ones.

Frowly watched Brahm's body language and face with a keen interest, the way emotion crossed his face, even if he only allowed it to linger there for a moment. He really did desire to know what went on inside people's heads.
"I felt uneasy returning here. Leaving like I did, but I didn't want to cause more trouble then I already had. When Master had found me I was no more then a mindless starving beast."
"Hmmn yes......There was an eventuality where you could have killed me back then, but several more where you met your end instead, mostly at the hands of Beltis. Really he calls me a meddler when he forces his way into any number of other people's problems. It's interesting really even in most of the eventualities where he wasn't enticed by Rhaizel, and didn't father that man in there....He Still fell. I just don't think he was very compatible with Heaven you know," Frowly said, going off on a tangent as he talked. His mind seemed to make some rather odd connections, maybe it was just because he knew so much, things no one else could glimpse let alone know.
He opened his mouth to continued but it was then that Cameron interrupted his train of thought. "Mr Frowly....I think he's awake."
Upon re-entering the room. Exley was gripping one of Cameron's wrists tightly and sitting up. His breathing seemed a bit laboured, and he didn't move for a while, before eventually shoving the half breed away from him. "I d-don't need.....Your charity....Yo-you should keep that power for yourself.....You're going to need it," Exley spoke with a strain. As he looked up his gaze met almost directly with Brahm's, before moving over to Frowly. Cameron however seemed understandably baffled by the other hybrids words for him.

"I think he's awake."
Brahm peeked around the corner before the rest of him followed. He stood just to the side of the room, daring to go no further.
Brahm scoffed at the word charity. "Don't be absurd, I don't do charity." He replied after Exley shoved his pet away, he did a brief glance over at Cameron amused by the bewildered look across the boys face. Brahm took a long blink and deep breath, the Crimson scent invaded every fiber of him. Intoxicating. He undid the top several buttons of his coat and fished out a silver cigarette case. After retrieving what looked like a cigarette, he placed one end in his mouth and with a match, lit the other end. Brahm took a long draw out inhale, filling his lungs with the herbal smoke.
"Something to dull the mind. Because mine is starting to scream very loudly." He offered the Oracle a mischievous pouty grin as he exhaled just as slowly. Although he'd like those to believe he had conquered the madness, it still raged somewhere just underneath the calm waters. But Brahm had gotten good at masking the feelings, numbing himself to the train wreck that had gotten a little quiter over the years. "I'd hate to have a repeate of history." He took another drag off the rolled up papers. When ever he felt himself loosing control, he'd dull his senses. It always seemed to help.
"Things go wrong in purgatory?" He asked with another exhale, glad to have the smell of blood covered by the scent of his smoke. His racing heart slowed down and he felt his perception warp ever so slightly. It was welcome relief to the banshee wailing between his ears.

"I wasn't...t-talking about yours," Exley retorted scornfully at Brahm, "it's already..c-clear...You have none." He went to put his legs over the side of the bed, he was a bit shaky, and he probably shouldn't be trying to stand up. He didn't want to be here, he didn't much appreciate Frowly's company, nor his guest's. He felt a bit dizzy sitting up, and he paid little attention to Brahm or Frowly for the moment, while he tried to pull himself together. Frowly spared Brahm a glance, and a small smirk appeared on his lips. " I'm not at all surprised, you belong to the clan of lust now," Frowly said, watching Brahm light up the cigarette, a good way to be sure to cover up the scent of all that blood. All demons belong to at least one 'clan' each embodying one of the deadly sins. It was possible however to fall under more than one, Lucifer embodied all seven. When Frowly turned his attention back to Exley and the other hybrid was on his feet, if not somewhat shakily, not only that but he was taking slow steps towards the oracle.
"Things go wrong in purgatory?"
"Did things go wrong?" Exley said back full of indignation. It hadn't been a question. His hands closed around Frowly's collar, and soon he had the hybrid pressed tightly against the wall. "If I have known you had sent him to me, I never would have taken him to that place! You knew, you knew the dragon child would be there, you knew there would be a fight, you fucking knew what was wrong with that boy," Exley was so furious with Frowly that he was beginning to lose control of the very thin grasp he had on his powers. The walls, floor, and ceiling around them cracked, with Exley as the focal point. Cameron took a couple of steps back, he could feel the raw power coming from Exley, and he knew without being told the man had no control over it. "You sent him there with me, because you wanted me to kill him.....Didn't you...."
If Frowly was worried about this dramatic display he didn't show it, he just waited for Exley to calm down, or rather for someone else to calm him down. Soon enough the man...Or more accurately, battle-doll from outside appeared, no doubt attracted by the aura Exley was giving off. All he did was put his hand on Exley's arm, unafraid, even as the material that made his body cracked and splintered under the hybrids power. "Exley it is enough now." Exley looked at him, looking as if he might cry before, slowly and reluctantly lowered Frowly back to the floor, though he didn't quite let go yet. His power subsided.
"Lance has a very real possibility of becoming a thorn in my side, and come now Exley, you know I don't do anything myself if I don't have to." Frowly was very much a person who manipulated others to do what he wanted, and to further his own goals. He rarely did anything he didn't see as a benefit to himself, there was always a pay off in the end small or large, sometimes an investment took a long time to pay off, but he had an eternity to wait.
Exley huffed angrily, then let go of Frowly, his tail flicking in an irate manner. "You will owe me back for this Frowly." "I saved you life," he retorted smugly. "You were the very one that put it in danger, besides that boy saved my life. It matters little who put him up to it. " Frowly looked like he was at a loss....."Fine...I will talk with Lusive, see if he can procure materials to fix the damage to Zia's vessel. I will cover the expense."
This seemed enough for Exley, and he turned to leave...Before he followed Zia out the door however he turned around, and he looked from Brahm to Cameron. "I will repay you for this one day boy, but not now...." He paused and looked a bit sad for a moment. "Sometimes we have to go through something terrible to become who we are meant to be. I hope you get through this." And then he left.
Frowly sighed. "What a mess....I really wish that had gone smoother...But the probability of it going my way at all was very low. This is why I dislike gambles..." He was only partially talking to Brahm...Mostly he was talking to himself.
(Sorry thats pretty long, also I hope you don't mind me insinuating that Lance and Exley had an altercation.))

Brahm quirked an eyebrow with great interest with this new person. It was rare and refreshing to be around such raw power and a personality to match. He had been around the stuffy aristocrats for too long that things had become a bit of a bore.
Another amused drag off the white slender cylinder as he watched the altercation between Frowly and Exley. Nothing went unnoticed by the incubus even with his scenes dulled, every word, every vocal tone, every bat of an eyelash. He observed it all in quiet beguilement as the ash ate away at the length of his rolled cigarette.
When the area around Exley began to strain and crack under his awesome force, those pale blue eyes flickered to Cameron watching and gauging his reaction. The battle-doll entered and he returned his attention to the entertainment and again the eyebrow raised at how simply the battle-doll calmed the Exley.
"Something terrible indeed..." Brahm agreed sarcastically with Exley as he mulled on the words that were meant for Cameron. Destiny truly was a cruel mistress, not that he really believed in that sort of thing. As the pair left, he looked at Cameron for the longest time. It was an intense yet empty gaze, much like the way a cat would stare unblinking and mysterious in its thought.
"Lance, dragon child, purgatory, a battle-doll that cares....it's all so very intriguing," he turned his attention to Frowly and approached him. "I personally enjoy a gamble, it makes things so much more interesting." He raised a hand as if to touch Frowlys halo, but he remained just shy of doing so.
( no I don't mind at all. I was really into reading what transpired in purgatory. I miss RPing Lance and his wickedness. )

Cameron had watched Exley leave, and continued to stare through the door even after he'd gone. He ignored Brahm for the time being, even though he could feel him looking at him. Exley left the half-blood quite in awe....But then he'd never felt anything like that before...Like creation itself, and he wasn't wrong Exley was Omnipotence personified the same way that Frowly was Omniscience.
Brahm didn't need to believe in destiny for it or rather...Her to exist, fate existed too but neither of them in the way you would expect. To people like Exley, and Frowly especially it was fact, they didn't get a choice to believe or not to believe.
Frowly was dusting his clothes out a bit when Brahm started talking, or thinking aloud. The hybrid quirked at eyebrow at him as he reached out towards his shattered hallow, he didn't tell him not to touch it. It wasn't like it would hurt or anything, though Brahm might find himself burned. "There are so many forces always at play, it would take a long time to explain them to you. And it is not yet certain if you will play a role in that play or not. Though ask me any question you wish and I will tell you no lies.....Though I do wonder...Why you came here to start with?" Frowly finished with a question. His eyes moved from Brahm to Cameron, then back again. He had a predatory look about him, and his tail swung slowly in a manner which suggested he was curious.

Brahm admired his hand as it basked in the glow of Frowly's shattered halo, then retracted it without ever actually touching it. "I have no desire to play any part...I only wish to exist until I see Him again and after that I care not what happens in the grand scheme of things." The stubborn hope of reuniting with Septimus was the only thing that brought him through the darkest of times, the only thing made life worth drawing another breath.
"Several reasons..." He paused to have another inhale of smoke, letting the herb linger in his lungs. "One: Nostalgia," the smoke escaped like fine silk from his rosy pale lips, "Two: to offer company or services if the need ever arises. And that brings me to reason Three." He paused again and put the cigarette out on the silver container that he had withdrew it from.
"Him." He motioned to Cameron as he placed what was left of the cigarette back into the case and slipped it back into his inner jacket pocket. "A scent that I can't quite put my finger on..." Those cold phantom blue eyes turned to look at his Pet once again. He hadn't noticed it right off, but as he spent more time with the boy, the fragrance seem to beacon him from a distance obscure memory. "Allusive and familiar, I was hoping you could tell me."

Frowly listened as Brahm explained himself, and there was an ever slight shift in his expression, as if the fallen angel had asked him exactly what Frowly wanted him to ask. "And how easy it would be for me to tell you why," he said with the air and tone of one who held all the cards, and liked it that way. Cameron still wasn't paying them much attention, not until Frowly closed the gap between himself and the boy, told a hold of his face and examined him. "Well I can't blame you for not recognising him, he doesn't look very much like his father. But then...Half-breeds rarely do."
"Lets go somewhere a bit more comfortable," Frowly said, letting go of Cameron, who was now frowning as rubbing his face a little. Frowely put one of his arms around the boys shoulders and lead him out of the room. Leading Him and Brahm back to his main parlour, which had changed little in the years since Brahm was last there. He sat down on this throne of pillows, and pull Cameron down with him. He didn't seem likely to be letting go of him any time soon, which was make Cameron more than a little uncomfortable....But then most physical contact made him uncomfortable these days.
"You know who my father is?" He asked eventually, uncertainly. "I know who everyone's father is." "You are....The sinful Omniscience...." This seemed to surprise Frowly. "Why yes...I am...Tell me boy...Do you know who that man earlier was?" There was a pause before Cameron answered. "The sinful Omnipotence..." "All that without being told?....That power comes from your mother. Even humans have some power and that was probably what attracted your father to her. He is ambitious, but controlled in a way that Lucifer was not."
Frowly enjoyed nudging and prodding at people, trying to get them to realise the answers themselves. It was so much more fun then just outright telling people what you knew. "Before I tell you what you want to know, a short sort of history lesson is in order. Half-Human, Half-angels are not as rare as my kind, but rarer still than their half-demon counter parts. That said Cameron is more unique even than me in a way. There is only one other half-angel like him. You glimpsed him once Octavious, when I shared my gift with you. He is much more frail than this one..." Frowly explained idly stroking Cameron's cheek with the thumb on the arm still draped around his shoulders. "The son of an Arch-Angel, and a human." He smiled that all knowing smile of his, and wondered if that was enough for Brahm to work it out.
